Entry level DAB car radio with Top Level Reception
The KD-DB 42 is an entry level DAB car radio launched this year by JVC. Entry level it may be but it has excellent DAB reception. A digital aerial will also be required in addition to the head unit. You can also play CDs and MP3s on this unit and there is a USB port mounted on the front panel as well as an AUX in, which will allow you to plug in other digital devices such as your iPhone or iPod. If you want you can add on the Bluetooth adaptor (KS-BTA100) and this will allow you receive and make your phone calls through the unit hands free. In addition to DAB this Unit will receive L-Band DAB and DAB+ where available so should pick up French radio if you cross the Channel.
KS-BTA100 DAB Car Radio – Bluetooth Add On
The KS-BTA100 Bluetooth unit has buttons for forward and reverse and Pause/Play and a super sensitive microphone. What functions available with this unit will depend on which mobile phone is used.
